Large swathes of the world are declared “orange zones”.

These are places where food no longer grows, temperatures are uncomfortable for most people, and there are frequent disasters.

What remains of the governments of these countries are flat broke.

What should we do with the orange zones?

• Let multinationals buy them for cheap.
• Strong countries should claim them and build strategic military bases on them.
• Agree to leave them be.
